Job Summary
Gold Star Appliance and Lighting LLC is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will generate leads, attract new clients, and close deals. Your responsibilities will include creating and submitting sales reports, building rapport with new and existing customers within your territory, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service, and negotiation skills, and a strong desire to close deals.
Responsibilities
- Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
- Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
- Meet or exceed designated sales targets
- Create and implement an effective sales strategy
- Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) program
- Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales
- Outside Sales are required to work 1 Saturday per month
- Attend occasional events both in and outside of the showroom
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required
- Previous experience in outside sales
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude and ability to be persistent

Competitive Compensation
Gold Star Appliance & Lighting is proud to offer a competitive compensation plan. We offer an hourly wage + uncapped commission. We have sales associates that make upwards of $12,000 a month in commission alone (not including hourly wage), and we are excited to support each individual employee's goals and endeavors. There is no cap to your commission ever, and incentives + bonuses are available to you throughout the month and year.
