About the Role:

Join Furniture Mart as a Retail Manager Trainee and embark on an exciting journey in New Orleans East! This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of retail management while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Assist in daily store operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Learn inventory management techniques to maintain optimal stock levels.
Support sales strategies to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Train and mentor new team members in customer service excellence.
Participate in visual merchandising to create appealing product displays.
Engage with customers to build relationships and foster loyalty.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or retail management is a plus.
Previous retail experience is preferred, ideally in a leadership role.
Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Proficient in basic computer skills and point-of-sale systems.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Team player with a positive attitude and a drive to succeed.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
