About the Role:

Furniture Mart in Gretna, LA is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Retail Furniture Sales Associate to join our team! Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers on the showroom floor, providing an exceptional in-store shopping experience
Guide customers through furniture selections, offering product knowledge on styles, materials, and features
Build lasting customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
Process sales transactions, financing applications, and customer orders accurately
Maintain an organized, visually appealing showroom floor and merchandise displays
Follow up with customers on order status, deliveries, and post-sale satisfaction

Requirements:

Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a commission-based environment
Basic computer skills for processing orders and managing customer accounts
Interest in interior design, home décor, or furniture is a plus

Compensation: $30,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
