About the Role:

Furniture Mart in Gretna, LA is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Retail Furniture Sales Associate to join our team! If you have a passion for home design and love helping customers find the perfect pieces for their space, this is the opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers on the showroom floor, delivering an exceptional in-store shopping experience
Guide customers through furniture selections, offering product knowledge on styles, materials, and dimensions
Process sales transactions accurately, including financing options and payment plans
Maintain an organized, visually appealing showroom through merchandising and display upkeep
Follow up with customers on orders, deliveries, and post-sale satisfaction
Build lasting customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals

Requirements:

Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred; furniture or home goods experience a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude
Basic computer proficiency for processing orders and managing customer accounts
Ability to stand and walk the showroom floor for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
High school diploma or GED required

Compensation: $32,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
