About the Role:

Furniture Mart in Houma, LA is looking for a hardworking and dependable Retail Furniture Stockroom Associate to join our team! This is a great opportunity to be a key part of a dynamic retail environment where your behind-the-scenes efforts keep the showroom running smoothly and customers happy.

Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and process incoming furniture shipments and deliveries
Organize and maintain stockroom inventory for efficient product retrieval
Assist with furniture assembly and preparation for showroom floor display
Pull and stage merchandise for customer pickups and delivery orders
Assist sales staff as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized showroom and stockroom environment

Requirements:

Previous warehouse, stockroom, or retail experience preferred
Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (50+ lbs) regularly
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends
Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and dollies
Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
