About the Role:

Furniture Mart is looking for a hardworking and dependable Retail Furniture Stockroom Associate to join our team in New Orleans, LA! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in keeping our showroom stocked, organized, and ready to wow customers every day. If you love staying active, working with a team, and taking pride in a job well done, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and process incoming furniture shipments and deliveries
Organize and maintain stockroom inventory for efficient product retrieval
Assemble and stage furniture pieces for showroom display and customer orders
Pull and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery
Assist sales staff as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom and warehouse environment

Requirements:

Prior experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or retail receiving role preferred
Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 75+ lbs)
Basic furniture assembly skills or willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
High school diploma or GED preferred

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
